The U.S. Hotel bar

The U.S. Hotel Bar is an iconic destination, perfectly positioned on the main street of Manayunk, Philadelphia, at the epicenter of the Historic District. A celebrated, casual late-night hotspot for several decades, the interior was in dire need of a renovation in order to retain its original reputation and compete with the newer, trendy bars popping up in the area. 

Working in close collaboration with the Philadelphia Historical Commission and paying tribute to the bar’s namesake, the revived Interior Design took a classic Americana approach, with a sophisticated and rich, yet traditional, color palette. The intricate ceilings, classic floor tiles, and beautifully carved bar millwork were carefully restored, retained, and flawlessly incorporated with new bold, deep green walls, leather upholstered furnishings, elegant brushed brass fixtures, and American history-inspired artworks. 

By delicately balancing old-world charm with familiar comforts and streamlining the interior to create an upscale experience, The U.S. Hotel Bar received a complete refresh and rebrand, while remaining true to its roots.
